Dr. Moriah Egbers DVMI have wanted to be a Veterinarian as long as I can remember! I had my first job at an Animal Hospital when I was 14 years old and have never left the field. I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 1993 and joined the staff here in 1995. In 2014, Dr. Chris Martin and I together became the proud owners of the Animal Hospital of Stoney Creek. It is wonderful to be able to provide care to clients and their pets that we have known for so many years and to also meet new clients!
Keeping our pets healthy through preventative healthcare, and building strong bonds with our pets is very important to me. In addition to treating the medical and surgical problems of our dogs and cats, I have a special interest in caring for our smaller furry pets; rabbits and rodents. I live in Hamilton with my husband Paul, children Michael and Isabel, our cat Zoey, and our Australian Shepherd, Frenkie. In my free time, I enjoy reading, long walks and hikes and hanging out with my family. I have a new hiking goal which is to complete the Bruce Trail end to end. Dr. Christine Martin DVMWhen I was 8 years old, I decided that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I fulfilled this lifelong dream and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002. I joined the Stoney Creek team right after graduation and loved it so much that I never left! In 2014, I was very fortunate to buy the practice with my longtime friend and colleague, Dr Moriah Egbers. I was and continue to be excited to provide veterinary care based on honesty, integrity and compassion. I look forward to creating close bonds with my four-legged friends and their human families! I am also thankful to have such wonderful staff that shares this passion. My biggest fans include my husband Craig, and my two sons Nolan and Reid. When I am not at the animal hospital, I love to watch my boys play hockey, try new recipes in the kitchen and ride my bike. My family also wouldn’t be complete without our two cats, Ruby and Henderson and our Doberman Biz!Dr. Donna Ozimok DVMI graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1996 and spent the first few years of my career at Fisherville Animal Clinic. When the opportunity arose to join the team at the Animal Hospital of Stoney Creek, I jumped on the chance, remembering it fondly from my visits to the hospital with my childhood dog. Since then the clinic and staff have become my second home and family.
I love building long term relationships with our clients and patients, many of whom I have worked with for almost 20 years. Outside of work, I love spending time with my kids, we all share a strong appreciation for the arts. We share our home with our black cat Floof and flame point cat Fritz. Dr. John-Paul SettimiDVMMy love for animals and my passion for science & medicine are what encouraged me to pursue a career as a Veterinarian. I completed my Undergraduate Degree in Biological Sciences at Western University (2015), and then completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the Ontario Veterinary College (2019).
Since 2019, I have been practicing as an associate veterinarian in both general practice and emergency hospital settings throughout Ontario. After a lot of time away from family and friends, I have finally decided to make Hamilton home!
My goal is to provide a high standard of veterinary care supported by clear communication and informed decision making with the owner. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my partner and our dogs, cooking, and spending time with family.
Overall, I am excited to be part of the incredible team at the Animal Hospital of Stoney Creek and am looking forward to meeting all the amazing clients and their beloved pets!
